Meet Dana
Before launching Dana Porcello Design, Dana spent 8 years managing hundreds of apartment renovations in Boston for a prominent developer. During this time, she honed her skills in project management, collaborating with subcontractors, and designing stylish, budget-conscious rental apartments. Dana thrived in the fast-paced world of city development but discovered her true passion lies in working on New England’s coastal homes and connecting with the unique people who live in them. In 2023, she moved back to her hometown of Mystic, CT and her mission is now to help clients transform their spaces into places they can truly enjoy and take pride in.

Located along Sagamore Creek in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, this Airbnb was designed to feel like a relaxed coastal escape. Drawing inspiration from classic New England interiors, the home was furnished with layered textures, comfortable seating, and a soft coastal palette to create an inviting experience for guests. The project included furnishings, lighting, artwork, window treatments, and styling throughout the property.

This waterfront home was thoughtfully renovated to celebrate its breathtaking views while creating a warm, timeless interior. Dana assisted with the paint color palette and decorative lighting selections, helping establish a cohesive foundation throughout the open-concept living spaces. Soft neutral walls, warm natural wood beams, and carefully selected fixtures work together to enhance the home's abundant natural light and strengthen the connection between the interior and the surrounding coastal landscape.
